Three Alleged Members of Wilmington-Based 6ixers Gang Charged with Federal Robbery Offense

WILMINGTON, Del. – A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging three Delaware men with Hobbs Act robbery. According to court documents, Jerome Pegram, 19, of Newark; Damire Lee, 22, of Wilmington; and Jeremiah Cunningham, 19, of Wilmington, are alleged to be members of the Wilmington-based 6ixers gang. The three gangmates are alleged to have participated in the armed robbery of an individual at a house party in Dover, Delaware, in March 2026. The gangmates forced the victim to hand over his property, striking him with firearms and their fists, and used a financial application on his phone to transfer money to themselves. Pegram, Lee, and Cunningham are each charged with one count of Hobbs Act robbery. If convicted, the three men face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. U.S. Attorney Benjamin L.
